Slow and Steady
It’s been a nice slow week just soaking up/getting through these last weeks of Summer. The heatwave finally broke and we have been able to have our windows open which is a game changer for my mood and energy. Yay for breezes. I’ve been spending my evenings drawing your portraits! Making my way through them, one at a time for you fine folks. Thanks for being here!
This weeks things:
I brought Elliott to a crochet club at our local library this week where a bunch of older women tried their darndest to teach him to crochet. Youtube ended up being more effective, but he wants to go back to the club just to hang! They were so nice.
We watched ET and it was a hit. I made sure to get a box of Reese’s Pieces for maximum enjoyment. I also like to make our popcorn in this collapsible contraption after burning it on the stovetop one too many times.
Revisiting Marcel the Shell since there is now a full length movie coming out.
If you need a brain break consider watching Honeyjubu sort and store her costco food. It is wildly relaxing and satisfying. If you like these types of things you may also enjoy this grocery store list organizer I designed for my own meal planning.
Wanting all the Hiller Godspeed Postcards and Alice Oehr Cake Posters
Finished watching season 3 of Never Have I Ever and I’m so sad it’s over.
Happy Wednesday friends. I hope your week’s going well. Take care.
