Oh that trip sounds like so much fun. I lived vicariously thru you three as I read your account of your fun day. Now that Jeff is retired maybe I can talk him into going back into the city and check out some of the spots you talked about - especially the Staten Island Ferry ride! Love you!!

Sounds like a blast. I went to NYC recently to visit a friend in Brooklyn. So much to see there! But a fun spot that I want so much to bring back to Baltimore is this place that just sells Key Lime Pies!! They are small and come on a stick...you can get them covered in dark chocolate and raspberry. OMG. Here's a link: https://keylime.com/ By the way--heading to Japan on Monday - going to be in Okinawa for about 10 days. Maybe don't tell Elliott.

What an amazing day trip. Muji and Kinokuniya are always on my list! Here are a few spots I’d recommend from a recent trip:

Din Tai Fung (Taiwanese) – With locations worldwide (I’ve been to Seattle and London) it never disappoints. The soup dumplings and shumai are a must.

Hey Yuet (Cantonese) – Some of the best dim sum I’ve ever had.

Juliana’s – Hands down the best pizza in the city, just a short walk from the Dumbo ferry stop.
