Looking Back
I made a little compilation of some of my favorite things I made this year. I am very proud of how much fun I had making these things. There was a lot of joy and freedom and newfound confidence in the things I made. I’m hoping to continue letting loose and working from a place of joy in the year to come. Thanks for following along with this journey.
Here are some paintings I made. There is my friend Lydia’s goat Madge, a portrait of Elliott and some sweet dogs for friends.
I made this painting of our cat Igby on our breakfast table to hang in our living room. Here she is laying underneath it. Followed by a painting of my friend Charis’ hamster Nana, and some little tomatoes.
Here’s another cat portrait for a friend. And I got to visit these commissioned paintings in my friend Jenn’s house in the Poconos. These are some of my favorite paintings and I am totally obsessed with how they look hanging in their beautiful house!
I made a bunch of collages that I never put up on the internet, but I love them so much. I also made this weird worm stuffed animal which makes me laugh real hard and never made it on the internet. And of course the little portrait of my friend Sarah!
And this portrait that cracks me up of my friend Jason.
I really let loose while quilting these improv quilted curtains. They were so much fun. The bottom picture is of a pillowcase that I haven’t finished, but am obsessed with.
My friend Jess told us about this place in chinatown called “Happy DIY” and making these phone cases with Elliott was a highlight of our year. We also had a pom pom kick and made all sorts of random fun things. The hedgehog I made with my niece Abigail in Alabama from a YouTube video. The ornaments are in celebration of my hometown.
And of course these t-shirts! If you bought something can you send me pictures? I would love to see!
I’m so glad you’re here!
